Background
Emma Gray was a working as a researcher for the Faithists in The Royal Free Hospital in London with her friend Alexandra Edwards and it was here that she discovered she was a mage. However she kept this a secret and was eventually forced to flee the hospital when the Sabbat attacked towards the end of the war.
She then somehow came to the attention of Michael Baxter who found her suffering from some kind of deadly poison. By this stage Alexandra had become Michael's childe and he decided to test her by forcing her to either embrace Emma or let her die.
After much thought Alexandra decided to embrace Emma however her status as a 13th generation vampire meant her blood was not strong enough to fully pass on the traits of a Kiasyd and so Emma awoke a clanless vampire. Despite this, Emma has indeed inhertied her sire's weakness to iron and her discipline of Mytherceria.
